APIS
Throughout 2009, the UK Government will be rolling out its requirement for Advanced Passenger Information (APIS) for all passengers travelling internationally to and from the country.
Advance Passenger Information means providing certain information to the authorities before you travel, such as passport details and, where necessary, contact information.
Each country requires the following information prior to travel -
- Passport (or ID Card where applicable) number
- Issuing country
- Passport expiry date
- Given names (as per the passport) and surname
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Nationality
It is imperative that this information is communicated to the airline prior to check in to avoid causing long delays at the airport. We are happy to offer this service for you, but you can also provide the data directly yourselves. Using the APIS link below you can access your reservation with your reference and surname and enter all of your details in one easy step.
